RHI Stage – Concert by Celina da Piedade with Ana Santos

The Arte Institute and the RHI Initiative have the pleasure to present a concert by Celina da Piedade with Ana Santos at RHI Stage.
Anyone who has seen Celina da Piedade in concert recognizes her immense charisma. Celina da Piedade has led her accordion and her voice to many different contexts, somewhere between the traditional forms and colors, and travels thru memories of folk European sounds and Portuguese roots music, specially Cante Alentejano, and more modern and universal grooves. She draws a soulful music, full of personality, that grows when performed live, due to her strong presence.
In this special online concert – live from her centuries old home in the calm of Alentejo region- she will take us thru some of her favorite folk songs from the south of Portugal and also some compositions of her own. Besides some solo moments with her voice and accordion, she will also be accompanied by Ana Santos on the violin.
