Description:
“Uma Língua que nos Une – My homeland is the Portuguese language.” – Fernando Pessoa
The exhibition “A Language that Unites Us” reflects on how Portugal and the countries of the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries) remain connected through the Portuguese language and all the accents in which it is spoken. A dialogue between image and literature is the guiding thread of this exhibition. Inspired by the project “There’s a Beautiful Braid in Your Dance” by Ondjaki and Jordi Burch, this exhibition invites a dialogue between writers and visual artists/photographers.
