Arte Box Exhibition | Lisbon

The Arte Box project continues its journey through Lisbon’s airport, bringing contemporary and modern art closer to audiences from Portugal and around the world.

The new exhibition in Lisbon opens September 21st through a partnership between Fundação Millennium BCP and Arte Institute, presenting five works by Mário Cesariny, Arpad Szenes, Hilda Reis, Jorge Pinheiro and Bartolomeu Cid dos Santos.

The exhibition will also feature the work of Brazilian artist Fernando Botafogo, marking the first presentation of his work in Portugal.

Through Arte Box, airports become spaces for cultural discovery, creating new encounters between artists, audiences and different artistic perspectives, while strengthening the cultural dialogue between Portugal and Brazil.
