Description:
“The national liberation is necessarily an act of culture.” – Amilcar Cabral
The exhibition “Sonho e Utopia – Dream and Utopia” continues the dialogue about freedom and the post-Carnation Revolution in April 1974. The hope and expectations that arose from this historical moment filled Portugal and the former colonies with joy. Some dreams and ideals became reality, while others remained mere utopias, and the struggle continues today to make them come true.
