Arte Institute suggests “Time and Weather” by Cristina Ataíde.

On Friday, October 2nd at 6:00 P.M. The Shed Space will present Crisitina Ataíde – Time and Weather, an exhibition featuring works produced at Wave Hill in the Bronx during the winter of 2014. Cristina Ataide lives and works in Lisbon. Her work, often produced while traveling, moves between sculpture and drawing, photography and video. Her work has been exhibited widely in Portugal, Spain and Brazil. She graduated in Fine Arts from the Lisbon School of Fine Arts (Sculpture) and also attended Design Studies there. She was Head of the Sculpture and Design departments at MadeIn, a Portuguese marble production company, working with artists like Anish Kapoor, Michelangelo Pistolleto, Keit Sonnier and Matt Mullican. and she also taught as a guest lecturer in Lusofona University in Lisbon. The Shed is pleased to welcome an artist who has traveled so far to share her work.
