Arte Institute and RHI Initiative present Chan-Chan by Juan Abalos at RHI Stage.

Juan Abalos was born in Buenos Aires. He started with the age of 18, performing in squares, plazas and other public spaces. He worked as a hospital clown until 2003, when he starts studying percussion with “El Choque Urbano”. Three years after, studies theatre with A. Badalamenti, where explores techniques as clown, improvisation and comicity.

With a one man circus show, travels through South America. Keeps studying with masters as A. Elizondo, Chacovachi, Johnny Melville, Jef Johnson, Gorka Ganso and others. Since 2016, lives in Portugal.
