NY Portuguese Short Film Festival – Updates
The Arte Institute will organize the first NY Portuguese Short Film Festival in New York as well as in Lisbon on 2 and 3 June 2011.
The event will be hosted by the Arte Institute together with the Anthology Film Archives and the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.
It is the first time that such an event will happen in the United States involving Portuguese cinema, connecting New York and Lisbon at the same moment. The two days Festival consists of the screening of twenty short films produced in Portugal and abroad by Portuguese citizens.
On 2 June, the festival will take place at Anthology Film Archives and will start at 7pm. Tickets are available at http://arteinstitute.eventbrite.com/.
On 3 June, the festival will take place at Union Square Park, starting at 7.30pm. The entrance is free but seats need to be reserved through http://www.eventbrite.com/event/1693223477.
