Stretching the genre of documentary, this essay-film is a composition of a foreigner’s thoughts over the American condition. Using footage from New York shot on a tourist camera mixed with classic movies, ‘From NY with Love’ spans the course of one year and goes from initial rejection to a final embrace of the city.
