Summary:
The choreographic creation is not limited to the conventional theatrical performance. Triad stands as the cinematic extension of a ballet’s excerpt that intends to capture the proximity of the look with the bodies, driven as they are by the choreographic impetus of Helena de Almeida’s work, thus causing the ephemeral moment of dance, swayed by Fernando Lopes Graça’s music, whose melodic genesis incurs immeasurable timelessness.

Body – Movement – Time, the fundamental triad for the existence of dance. Each of these elements wants to inhabit the other, in a combination that requires multiplying the perspectives of a dance created by the merging of that triad. Conversing frames between the escape to timelessness and immediate emotion of choreographed images, inspired by the scholarly tones of Lopes-Graça and the disturbing imagery of Helena Almeida, they aim to find the place where only movement, and not the body, resist the sacrifice of time.
