”Delicado” was the result of a fruitful meeting between the Portuguese singer Fernanda Paulo and the Brazilian pianist Francisco Pellegrini. The album celebrates the tradition and universality of Fado through songs either from the genre’s celebrated repertoire, such as ‘Casa Portuguesa’ and ‘All this is Fado’, or Portuguese classics, such as ‘Sol de Inverno’ and ‘Uma Flor de Verde Pinho’, or even from overseas, such as ‘Fado Tropical’ and ‘Saudades do Brasil em Portugal’. An exciting repertoire that comes to life with this instrumentation, unusual for this music style, and with the exquisite interpretations of the duo.
