EDGE ARTS – Summer Workshops 2015
Arte Institute suggests “Summer Workshops 2015” by Edge Arts.
The Edge Arts – Arte Contemporânea created an Open Call to select best proposals for the kids ‘summer holidays. Among many applications we choose three of them, which combine new technologies, holograms and dance, photography and painting, illustration and drawing.
During the week of 22nd to 26th of June, Ana Elisa de Aragão will guide the workshops Laboratório das ilusões. The next month, Patrícia Milhanas Machado proposes Jogar às imagens dançantes, between 13th and 17th July. Sofia Morais and Ileana Rovetta will be monitors of the illustration workshops, Dos pés à cabeça passando pelo coração!, that will happen between 31st of August and 4th of September.
It will be days filled with didactic and playful activities for children between 6 and 12 years old and the workshops will take place at the dynamic and multifaceted space of LEAP – in the Espaço Amoreiras.

Through audiovisual tools and visual arts we will create fun and ambitious shows and movies! Get ready and get to work!

Jogar às imagens dançantes
Placing the image as a theme for new techniques and artistic expressions, these workshops will include dynamic observation, cooperative games, interpretative analysis shows, hands-on activities and workshops of artistic expression.

Dos pés à cabeça passando pelo coração!
In this illustration workshop each participant will develop its own works and will produce several self-portraits and portraits of his colleagues. It will be proposed to draw life-scale portraits, complete the same drawing as a group, and our ultimate goal will be to produce a book!
