This fourth and final weekend of the ECOS aims to reflect the idea of community and the way Sound is an agent in its definition , construction, crystallization or transformation.

A community that is expressed in the confrontation between memory and the fast processing of contemporaneity.

 

How do we create and give importance to space and territory, the limits and boundaries of an ecosystem ?

How do we relate to each other, with the stranger, the neighbor? Is conflict an imperative in creation of community?

 

The Sinel Palace Cordes will once again be the center of activities of ECOS , extending its action to the vicinity of Graça, Santa Engracia and São Vicente de Fora by way of issuance of the events in FM signal , suggesting a fictional experience of community radio.

In the 6th and 7th Margarida Mestre will promote a children workshop using spoken word and singing to focus on the theme of ” neighborhood.”
