Portuguese Language Week 2022
The Arte Institute supports the Portuguese Language Week 2022 that will take place online, between May 2 and 6.

A consortium of several cultural institutions, universities and literary festivals from Portuguese-speaking countries and countries that don’t use Portuguese as a mother tongue, will hold for the first time between May 2 and 6, 2022 a cycle of debates, under the slogan “Diversity, mobility and creativity”. The debates aim at a diverse audience and is broadcasted online around the world. The event is presented as a window for cultural cooperation and formation of innovative contours of literary production and training of readers in Portuguese language.
Among the participants, we highlight the Angolan writer Cremilda de Lima, in full activity at the age of 82, with recognized work for children and young people. And also Eurídice Monteiro (Cape Verde) Benita Prieto (Brazil), Kátia Casimiro (Guinea Bissau), Sónia Sultuane (Mozambique) Paulo Mirás (Galicia/Spain), Gociante Patissa and João Fernando André (Angola).
