‘Wonder Memories’ Exhibition | France

The Arte Institute supports the exhibition ‘Wonder Memories’ by Beatriz Albuquerque that is going to take place in France between September 17th and October 16th.

Description:
Beatriz Albuquerque is in an artistic residency in France, where the town of Tourcoing wins a new community project, called Wonder Memories. In this project the Portuguese emigrants from the Lusophone community are interviewed and create an archive of memories and thoughts of these people, their stories, their lives and their perspectives for the future.
As a synthesis arises the creation of two performances that will be shown on September 17 and 18, at 4.00 PM, at La Confection Idéale, as well as a solo exhibition that will open on September 17 and is part of the European Heritage Days, an annual initiative of the European Heritage Days, an annual initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Union.
