Churky is a Portuguese singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
Diogo Rico (Churky’s real name) is the author of all his songs, which have a distinct touch that led him to victory in the EDP Live Bands competition, catapulting him to greater recognition. This allowed him to perform on national and international festival stages, such as NOS Alive (Portugal) and Mad Cool (Spain).
In 2019, he released his debut album, “É”, and in the same year, he performed at the EDP Cool Jazz festival.
At the beginning of 2021, he released “Mossas”, an EP with a more Folk-oriented sound that took him to various Portuguese cities, as well as a very special performance at the São Tomé Literary Festival in São Tomé and Príncipe. In that same year, he made his debut in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
