The Literary Festival of Poços de Caldas, Flipoços, consolidated as one of the most important literature festivals in Brazil, its main mission is to give everyone easy access to the world of books and contact with writers, free of charge. Thus, Flipoços becomes the only thematic festival in Brazil that approaches varied and diverse themes, mixing professionals and subjects from the most different areas. The curatorship of Flipoços 2018 – Literary Festival of Poços de Caldas defined the theme of the 2018 festival based on other forms of knowledge that have as background, Literature.
In this sense, the theme “Literature and other Knowledge” will dialogue with the various areas of knowledge such as philosophy, millennial cultures, health and well-being, plastic arts, science and technology, diversity having as a foundation literature as the founder of all the universal expressions. Knowledge is not an absolute truth. He finds himself in many ways, styles, ways and thoughts of our daily lives. It will be an awakening to the different.
The Flipoços 2018 will take place from April 28 to May 6, from 9 am to 9 pm, at the Urca Cultural Space in Poços de Caldas, south of Minas, Brazil.
