Screening of the movie “Florbela” | New Bedford
The Arte Institute is pleased to present the movie “Florbela” in New Bedford at the Free Public Library, on March 8, 7 pm.
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the event is a partnership between the Portuguese Consulate in New Bedford, New Bedford Free Public Library and Umass Dartmouth – Center for Portuguese Studies and Culture.

A movie based on the life of the portuguese poet Florbela Espanca, one of the most important names of the XX century portuguese literature. A film by director Vicente Alves do Ó, with Dalila Carmo, Ivo Canelas e Albano Jeronimo.
The actor Ivo Canelas will be present for a Q & A.
