Voice and Bass,
Luanda and Norton;
two that multiply their duo.
Music as pure coffee,
That addicts, awakes and electrifies as coffee grains spread around the world i n a fine portuguese-brazilian grinding.
COUPLE COFFEE is the musical marriage of LUANDA COZETTI and NORTON DAIELLO. Luanda was born to travel the world. Daughter of revolutionaries (Alípio de Freitas and Wanda Cozetti), she was born in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro and has also lived in Guinea Bissau and Portugal. Norton was born in the south of Brazil, and he has lived several years in Rio de Janeiro, then in the USA and since the last 10 years, in Portugal.
Together, they transform the sound in music, in pure art. She can do whatever she wants with her voice. He follows her, but beyond that, his bass sings with her. From that unique chemistry, an original and sophisticated music arises. The communication with the audience is immediate. No one stays indifferent to these virtuoso and original duo.
Luanda Cozetti, platinum singer with the Project Rua da Saudade and Norton Daiello, one of the most reputed bass players living in Portugal, created Couple Coffee in 2005. Until now, they ́ve edited 5 CDs. In 2005, as a duet, they ́ve released the Album Puro. In 2007, the project grew. With the original guitar player Sergio Zurawski and the unique, well-known percussionist Ruca Rebordão, Couple Coffee & Band was created. With this quartet, they ́ve recorded the Albums Co ́as Tamanquinhas do Zeca! (2007) and its 2nd Edition with new original songs (2015), Young and Lovely – 50 anos de Bossa Nova (2008), Quarto Grão (2010) – which theme “Luandando” has been awarded with the Prize Grão de Música in São Paulo, Brazil, 2015. Couple Coffee are now recording their 6th Album, to be released in the beginning of 2016.
